Network attached storage (NAS) stories - Page 7

As data volumes have inexorably grown over time, and as people working collaboratively have required access to communal documents and other information, Network Attached Storage has emerged as a dedicated form of storage connected to the network and allowing multiple users access from any device. NAS file storage is generally provided as a network-attached device (a storage array); additional devices can be added as required, allowing scale-out of storage capacity.
