Lumify Group has appointed Andrew Smith as the company’s new General Manager for its New Zealand branch, responsible for overseeing operations in the country.

Smith will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Lumify Group’s New Zealand branch, which includes Lumify Work NZ, formerly known as Auldhouse.

He brings a wealth of experience to the company, having worked in the consulting and education sector for more than 20 years.

Prior to joining Lumify Group, Smith worked for Skills Consulting Group, where he managed several training businesses acquired within the group, such as SoftEd, IMNZ, and e-tec.

He also managed a consulting team that specialised in digital learning.

In addition, Smith led several project consulting teams in many leading New Zealand organisations.

"We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to the Lumify Group team," says Jon Lang, CEO, Lumify Group.

"His extensive experience in the consulting and education sector, as well as his passion for learning and helping people develop new skills, makes him the perfect fit for our company.

“We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have on our New Zealand operations."

Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts (Education) from the University of Auckland and is committed to helping organisations lift their capability with training and other services, to create a future-ready workforce.

“I am excited to be joining a business with such a strong track record,” Smith says.

“Auldhouse has been a dominant training brand in New Zealand for such a long time.  It has great products and people and is well-positioned for the future.

“Under the Lumify brand, we can stretch the offerings in New Zealand and support our customers in new ways.

“The rate of change is greater than ever before, as Lumify, we will be able to help create, re-skill and supplement the capabilities that our customers need to stay ahead of the technology curve.”
